Painted Candle Jar

Supplies:

Step 1: Pour paint into the candle jar and mix it around. Set it aside to dry.

Step 2: Wrap the ribbon around the candle jar to determine the needed amount. Cut the appropriate length and run it through the Xyron 1.5” Sticker Maker.

Step 3: After running the ribbon through the Xyron 1.5” Sticker Maker, rub the top of the sticker paper. Then peel the ribbon off the paper and wrap it around the top of the candle jar.

Fake Leaves Candle Jar

Supplies:

– Glass jar

– Fake leaves

– Mod Podge

– Paintbrush

– Tea light candle

Instructions:

1. Clean the glass jar thoroughly to remove any dirt or residue.

2. Apply a layer of Mod Podge to the outside of the jar using a paintbrush.

Step 2: Run each leaf through the machine, rub the top of the sticker paper, then peel and adhere them to your candle jar.

-Candle jar(s): You can use any jar that is suitable for holding a candle. Mason jars or glass votive holders work well.

-Letter stickers: Look for stickers in the font and size you want for your monogram. You can find these at craft stores or online.

-Paint: Choose a color that complements your decor. Acrylic craft paint works well for this project.

-Paintbrush: A small to medium-sized brush will work best.

Step 1: Cut a strip of burlap and a piece of ribbon to fit the candle jar.

Step 2: Run the burlap and ribbon through the Xyron Creative Station Lite machine. Rub the top of the sticker paper and then peel off the burlap and ribbon. Wrap them around the middle of the candle jar.

Step 3: Paint the wooden letter and glue it to the candle jar using industrial strength glue.

I think these candle jars turned out cute! My favorite would definitely be the Fake Leaves one. After you upcycle your candle jars, you can use them for different things. In the photos above, I used my candle jars to display fall leaves, hold colored pencils, and a plastic tea light. However, you could store loose change, hold your car keys, or use it as a small candy dish!
